Donald Joseph Qualls better known as his DJ Qualls stage name DJ Qualls was born in the United States. He is a producer, actor and model. After gaining acclaim for his part as a character in Road Trip, he's appeared in more than 20 films. These include The New Guy Hustle & Flow, The Core and The New Guy Hustle & Flow. He has also appeared in over 22 TV shows including Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order and many more. Qualls, who was diagnosed at the age of 14 with Hodgkin lymphoma is an incredibly tough fighter. Following two years of treatment his cancer went into remission. Treatment was carried out so quickly that it caused a serious impact on the body and slowed his growth. Security in the financial realm was his primary goal once he got started, as he'd seen poverty throughout his life. He stated, "I've been living so in a state of financial sanity for so long that I'm in need of financial security otherwise the world will feel out-of-control to me." Looking back at his own youth He wants to do something about the problem of bullying. "Cruelty breaks me heart," he said. DJ's ideal role is to play a father figure in reel and in reality. But he admits Directors don't have me as a character. It would be wonderful to one day be a parent himself, when you can spend more time with his career and devote it to his child.
